Both bedrooms are equipped with queen beds, wardrobe closets for storage and have access to the patio. The living room is large and comfortable, with two sofas (one is a sofa bed if extra beds are needed) and a TV in case you want to hangout inside. We would strongly suggest you rather enjoy our patio or the yard instead. With plenty of room to hangout, have a meal and generally enjoy the summer sun you can be much better outside. The kitchen is a fully equipped regular house kitchen. All essential appliances are available (regular size stove and oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffeemaker). Staying in Argostoli you have all the perks of a city, like shopping and dining options by the dozen. However, you also need to get out of town for beaches and most sights. That is why we always recommend a car (or a scooter at least). A car is always recommended and considered essential for Kefalonia. You would be missing so much if you don’t explore our islands many amazing parts. Further bellow we list just a handful of suggestions for places to visit. And staying in Argostoli brings you to the center of it all and gives you the best access for exploration. If you do decide to stay local, Argostoli is a town you can definitely walk around. The place to go for all your general shopping: clothing, jewelry, souvenirs and much more. • 7’ walk to Argostoli Central Bus Station • 15’ walk to Valianou Square (many restaurants, cafés and bars) • 20’ walk to the pier for the ferry to Lixouri • 2’ walk to Kefalonia General Hospital • 5’ walk to Athletic Park (stadium and open basketball courts) • 20-25’ walk to Lassi There is also an intracity bus that also connects to Lassi (the closest to town resort, with many beaches, restaurants and bars). Kefalonia is an amazing island with so many magnificent changing sceneries. • You can rent a car and explore the famous breathtaking beaches like Myrtos, Petanoi and Antisamos. • You can visit the most colorful picturesque little gems of villages, like Assos and Fiskardo. • Mount Ainos is the centerpiece of the island and what makes it so unique. The valley of Omala, home of our patron saint St. Gerasimos Monastery, is also vineyard country, where Robola wine is made. • The underground lagoon of Melissani and Drogarati cave will awe you for sure. • Skala and its miles long beach is a great place to visit and is the resort of choice for many thousands.
