A French Navy kitchen with stone benchtops anchors the light-filled open-plan living space, styled with an oversized lounge, dining area, grass-weave wallpaper, original art, and an antique carved Rajasthani sideboard. The fully equipped kitchen — complete with generous French door fridge — is ready for your favourite local produce and wines. Bedrooms Two generous king bedrooms each feature a cosy upholstered picture window seat/daybed. The second bedroom can be configured as two king singles if preferred. Bedrooms are prepared based on the number of guests booked; for two single guests wanting a bedroom each, we can open both for a small linen fee — please request in advance. Outdoors Your private outdoor space includes a covered timber verandah, sun deck, private plunge pool, and an outdoor fire pit for winter evenings. Over 250 sqm of fully fenced lawn makes it ideal for a small family dog (on request). Guest access You’ll have exclusive use of Atlas Cottage and your own fully fenced private garden — complete with plunge pool, sun deck, covered verandah, and outdoor fire pit. Private parking is provided right beside the cottage, with an easy, flat walk to your front door. Entry is via secure keyless access, so you can check in at your leisure after the designated arrival time. While Silvermist is home to a small number (2) other private cottages on the estate, your indoor and outdoor spaces are entirely your own. The remaining areas of the property are reserved for the owners and other guests to ensure everyone enjoys peace, privacy, and a relaxed stay. A small family dog is welcome by prior arrangement — the garden is fully fenced for your convenience. Other things to note Pool Season Our outdoor plunge pools are gas-heated, but during the winter months, the cold overnight temperatures make it difficult to heat them effectively. Because of this, the pools are only heated from the October to June long weekends. During the cooler months, the pools remain unheated — but still make a lovely spot to sit and relax. Our winter season rates reflect that the pools aren’t in use, and we appreciate your understanding. Bedrooms When a booking is made for 2 guests, one bedroom will be prepared. This helps us manage cleaning and linen efficiently, and ensures the accommodation is always presented at its best. The second bedroom remains closed unless additional guests are included in your booking. When 3 or 4 guests are booked, both bedrooms will be available. We kindly ask that no extra guests stay overnight beyond those confirmed in your booking. This keeps the stay comfortable, well-prepared, and in line with our insurance and safety requirements.
