Homely stay with restaurant across the road!

My house has parking for 2 guest cars, a pool, a food garden which guests are free to use, 2 lovely dogs to play with, and a small garden. Lovely trees shade the area in summer and there is plenty of sun in winter. TV is available upon request. WIFI at any speed available on request (uncapped, unthrottled). 20-30 minutes from anywhere in central Johannesburg and 5-10 minutes away from the vibrant Melville nightclub scene and two main universities in Johannesburg. COVID sanitation mandatory. The space This house dates back to the early mining days of Johannesburg. The original house with outhouse was built in 1926 and had additions made in 1933 and again in the mid eighties. It has a swimming pool and a small garden as well as a food garden. Parking is available for 2 cars. Across the road is a well known eatery with very good value as well as a co-work space. However I am able to upgrade my WIFI to the maximum upon request and you are free to work from the house. I have two main bedrooms one of which is for guests, with a double bed and en suite bathroom with shower bath, WC and basin. There is an additional shared bathroom with shower bath (cast iron - Victorian), WC and basin. The house is located relatively close to the city and is about 30 minutes from Sandton in normal traffic. It is 5 minutes from the University of Johannesburg, WITS University and Melville (a local nightclub and restaurant area). I can arrange informal tours of Jozi with a friend if you so desire. Guest access You will have access to all areas except my bedroom, but you will be expected to observe decorum of dress (ie no walking around in the birthday suit). During your stay I work at home during the day but I am available most times for assistance and any time for emergencies except when I am in meetings (I will share my schedule) Other things to note It is no secrete that Johannesburg has a high crime rate but I will show how to interact with a city in the safest possible way. I have an alarm system with emergency response which is active at all times.
