The Log Cabin at Historic Oak Hill Farm
Please read carefully: The Log Cabin at Oak Hill Farm to 1790 and was the ancestral home of the Lodge family who came to Loudoun County in the 1700s from Chester County, PA. Oak Hill is featured as a historical site in Eugene Scheel's historical map (1997) and is still a working farm. Due to the age of the cabin, the full bathroom is on the lower level and may not work for all guests. In addition WIFI is spotty. To preserve the experience at Oak Hill, we do not accept pets. The space The Log Cabin at Oak Hill Farm is a place for you to reconnect with yourself, a loved one, or history. With relaxing country views, you will be within easy reach of wineries, breweries, antique shopping, golfing, hiking (Appalachian Trail Head is near by) and dining. Enjoy the surrounding area, or sit down and start that book you always wanted to write. The Log Cabin itself has a beautiful main floor that includes a wood stove and cozy sitting and dining area. A queen size, four poster bed awaits you on the second floor. Additionally, there is an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances for you to cook or warmup a meal on the lower floor. Please note that the ONLY full bathroom is also on the lower floor. Situated on 20 acres, the Log Cabin is located off of Route 7, about 1½ hours west of Washington DC in Loudoun County. While the cabin is ideal for a relaxing getaway, if you plan on working WIFI is NOT reliable. Additionally, if you need to watch tv, you must have an Apple ID password, and access ultimately depends on the internet. Guest access You will have an entire log cabin for you and your guest to enjoy! There are picnic tables outside for you to enjoy the scenery.
