Stairs lead directly down to the river front in the summer and in the winter relax by the wood stove or head out to Ski at Big Bear, Holiday Mountain or Elk Mountain. INSIDE the river house is a perfectly sized little house situated riverfront outside the artsy town of Narrowsburg, NY in the Catskills. the house is bright and airy and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There's a wood burning fireplace in the living room as well as large sliding glass windows on every wall of the front of the house with a view of the Delaware where eagles soar overhead. We also have fast WIFI for when you just want to stream netflix in bed, and tons of board games and puzzles for chilly nights by the wood burning stove : ) OUTSIDE Enjoy grilling on the deck overlooking beautiful river surrounded by wildlife and trees. Guests have full use of the private riverfront. The fishing is great (there's a bait shop in town next to Pete's Supermarket) or you can just lounge in a tube all day and soak up the sun. THE TOWN The house is only a 5min drive from the center of town in Narrowsburg where you can find: fine restaurants, art galleries, a fully equipped grocery store, pizzeria, coffee shop, ice cream and more. Narrowsburg has been featured in Vogue Magazine, New York Magazine, The New York Times and Travel + Leisure. This quaint artsy towns main street also overlooks the Delaware River. Close to Ski Big Bear. Guests have access to the entire home and full access to the river front located in beach lake but just across the bridge from Narrowsburg, New York, United States. There is so much to do in town, which is 5 minutes away, plus many things to do in neighboring towns and villages, all within 30 minutes. We are 5 minutes from the NY/PA border so there are many fun activities on both sides of the border. There are many water activities during the warm weather and skiing during the winter.
