The Dore camp is close to Belgrade, Oakland , Sidney , Waterville, Colby and Thomas Colleges. Messalonskee Lake is part of the Belgrade Lakes chain and is one of the most popular for swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing. The cedar log camp accommodates family, friends and small gatherings. Sandy waterfront is perfect for non-swimmers. Swimming float for advanced. We provide a canoe and kayak for guest use. Outdoor fire pit with seating and a deck with built in seating along the shore. The space The camp is a perfect place to bond with family and friends. Fireplace, comfortable seating and board games available for your pleasure. Guest access The whole camp is available including a storage shed for your personal use. Cleaning of Sheets and towels is our responsibility . Other things to note The camp has a new well so bottled water is not necessary. Fireplace and fire pit wood is provided in the shed. We also provide large beach towels. Kayak and canoe have paddles and life jackets that are also in the shed. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent, if needed. We have soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer for your use. There is also a new dishwasher, washer and dryer in the camp for your use.
