In the heart of the historic center of Besalú, we have a house that we have renovated, restored and converted into three independent apartments. This is #2, on the second floor ideal for 2 people. With an equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room with a balcony overlooking the Jewish quarter and a bedroom with a double bed and also a balcony. We have free wifi, heating, washing machine, crib. Ideal for couples. Sofa bed or "folding bed" available if you are 3. Perfect for spending a few days while you discover the area. This is apartment 2, on the second floor, which sleeps 2 or 4 people. Apartment 2 has an equipped kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room and a bedroom with a double bed and space to put a crib or folding bed. In the dining area there is a double sofa bed. We don't have an elevator, some of the stairs are medieval and couldn't be changed. We have free wifi, heating, washing machine... Ideal for a weekend, a week or a month and discover the Garrotxa and its volcanoes, forests, rivers and mountains (20 min away), L'alt Empordà, known for its wines, its beaches and its capital Figueres (20 min away) or to visit Banyoles (15 min) or Girona (30 min) and its rich medieval legacy. Come!! You'll fall in love!!! For practical purposes, you have a greengrocer, craft shops, a delicious artisan pizzeria, cafes and restaurants right in front of you. There are several public parking lots within a 5-minute walk and public transportation to nearby towns, Girona or Barcelona. We are in the center of the Jewish quarter, but it is a very small and quiet town where you can breathe village life, peace and quiet, without cars or smoke.
