This Lake Erie island getaway is a two-story, luxury condo with beautiful accommodations throughout. It includes four bedrooms (8 beds) that accommodates 12 guests. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, 2 large lakeside decks, and easy entrance with a coded door lock. Guests have access to the large pool, grills, and surrounding gathering spaces. This is an ideal location for family, friends, and couples to spend time together on this unique island setting. The Put-in-Bay Condos are located directly behind the Airport, on the shores of Lake Erie. Opened in July of 2016 , this upper level unit is situated on the end of the property, giving it the same easy access as other units, but the added privacy of not having neighbors on all sides. The private outdoor decks, that provide beautiful views of Lake Erie, are accessible through double sliding doors from the main living area and master bedroom. The main deck is equipped with a large table & 10 chairs for families & groups to enjoy a variety of activities in their personal space. Some guests enjoy starting the day watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee and a good book, while others unwind with a good meal after returning from the pool or an exciting day visiting the variety of Put-in-Bay destinations. The upstairs master deck, with it's table and two chairs, is the perfect private location to relax & listen to the waves crash onto the shore. Many guests have compared the experience of staying at the condo similar to being on a cruise ship, with views of the water for miles and miles. The condo is fully furnished with a wide variety of kitchen utensils and pots and pans. If cooking is your passion, you'll have no trouble whipping up your meal of choice. You'll feel right at home with an electric stove/range, microwave, toaster & coffee maker & over-sized refrigerator. Check-in is hassle free. On the day of arrival, guests will be given a unique 4-digit access code to the front door of Unit #212 that will be used during their entire stay. Guests have shared use of the ground-level patio, picnic tables, gas grills, parking lot (2 cars), and pool area. If guests are planning on bringing a car(s) to Put-in-Bay, you should check the Miller Ferry schedule for times & availability. The homeowner does not live on site, but can be reached any time for questions/concerns for household issues. 216.310.0280. There is a condo manager on site that can be contacted by the homeowner to assist with any urgent needs. Cars are permitted on Put-in-Bay. Unit #212 is allotted 2 parking spaces. It is recommended that guests wishing to bring a car(s) to the island check the Miller Ferry schedule (car transporting ferry boat) for hours of operation & availability. Preferred methods of transportation on Put-in-Bay are golf carts & taxis. Golf carts are available for rental on site or from the other rental companies located throughout the island. Taxis are generally $3 per person each way, and, run continuously in/out of the condo complex daily. Most taxi drivers can also be reached for a scheduled pick-up, too. Put-in-Bay is an island located in Ohio, U.S.A. It is a year-round home to nearly 300 permanent residents. The main tourism season runs early April through the end of October, with its peak season mid-June thru mid-August. All local, state & federal laws apply. The state minimum drinking age is 21 years of age. Open containers are prohibited in vehicles (and, golf carts) and on city streets. Golf carts are registered motor vehicles and are subject to all traffic laws such as stop signs, yielding the right-of-way, DUI, etc. Pool availability generally runs mid-May thru mid-September, weather permitting. Public transportation to and from the island can be reached by one of two commercial ferry boat lines (Miller Ferry or the Jet Express). Ferry departures vary by season, by day & time of the week.
