Canyon County Country Cottage

Currently we are accepting mid to long term stays only. 60 days + Come enjoy a quiet country setting on several acres off the main road with trees surrounding, horses in nearby pastures and friendly neighbors! Lots of space for outdoor lawn games or to simply sit under a tree and read. At the right time of year, you'll also have various fresh fruits and veggies to enjoy straight off our trees and from the garden! The space Thanks to so many wonderful guests, we've had tremendous success with our Airbnb! All unavailable dates on the calendar in coming weeks and months are actually booked. We are not blocking these dates. We recommend booking early if you can. The guest cottage is set on several acres of land just six minutes away from downtown Nampa. The main house is now our second Airbnb and is located in front of the guest cottage. It is the original house on the surrounding farmstead. There are two horse pastures on the property, another home that we rent full time to a tenant (who we hope never leaves us!), and my parents live in their newly built house on the back of the property. I'm a photographer and my wife is a therapist. We both work from home most of the week. My studio is located above the guest cottage and is currently being switched back and forth by the both of us while she continues tele-health sessions. Netflix and Hulu via Roku (login to your own accounts or use ours.) Great DVD collection. Book and Puzzle exchange (Feel free to start a book and take it with you! If you have one you can leave behind, please do. And bring a puzzle to trade if you're a puzzler.) Lots of outdoor space with lawns and lawn games. We now have two disc golf baskets too! There is plenty to enjoy! Guest access Guests are free to wander the property and kick back. Because of the layout of the property, and our blended property lines with neighbors, we have included a map within the cottage for you to better get your bearings. Within the cottage, there is just one locked door that leads to my studio. Feel free to enjoy the hammock under the trees. We have added two disc golf baskets to play with. Bring your discs or use our soft discs. Please be especially cautious of neighbors cars and such. There's a fire pit out back, and a gas BBQ to share with the renters in the main house. If you can, please let us know in advance if you'd like to use the BBQ. Additional things we have to make use of: Bikes, snow shoes, golf clubs, skis, bocci ball, games, etc. Other things to note Due to our current longer term stays, we will connect with you regarding other details. THINGS YOU MAY HEAR: You’ll love the birds chirping, ducks in spring, owls when they’re around. We have three dwarf goats that may talk to you as you walk by. Neighbors have other farm animals you may hear. As well, because there is a lot of land around here, we do have to sprinkler and mow and use chainsaws and occasionally use other tools that make noise. We are considerate when guests are around and will do our best to not disturb your slumber. We do have a 11 year old who loves to play outside with his buddies. He understands boundaries and will be respectful during your visit.
