Surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants, this property is perfect for people who like being in a bustling environment and want to enjoy real life in a seaside town! This is an interesting house, with an ancient footprint and very modern interior. It is built over three floors and is a 35 second walk to the river - we counted! The space You access the Old Chantry via Higher Street and step straight into a modern open plan kitchen dining room. The kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine, Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate Velvetiser, toaster and kettle. It has a standard range of pans, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. The dining table seats 4 comfortably and can be extended to seat 8. The open plan kitchen/dining room also has a flat screen TV, a settee, footstools and an honesty mini bar. Bedroom one has a king sized bed, a large chest of drawers and a television with wall hooks to hang clothes. Bedroom two is small with a high ceiling providing the illusion of space. It has a double bed, chest of drawers and wall hooks to hang clothes. The upper floor has a shower room, with WC and sink and leads to a little reading corner on the top of the wooden staircase. In the basement, the colourful lounge has a large flat screen television with Amazon Firestick providing access to most channels. There is a settee and a range of easy chairs. On this floor there is also a toilet and wash basin and a laundry room with a washing machine and clothes drying area. The property offers a parking permit, providing free car parking in the Mayors Avenue Car Park in the centre of Dartmouth and a 4 minute walk from the front door. Guest access Guests have sole access to the whole property. Other things to note We do not accept pets at the Old Chantry.
