In the heart of the old town of Naples, in Vico Cinquesanti, a short walk from the forum/agora of Neapolis, now Piazza San Gaetano, lies the ancient structures of the Greek-Roman theater. On the lower floor, recalling the theater below, tragic and comic terracotta masks, Pulcinella masks, for some descendant of Maccus, character of the ancient Atellan comedies, amphorae, jars, mosaics, collections of statuettes of the Roman pantheon and terracotta amphorae. The "Cave canem" and "Cave felem" rooms, inspired by the Latin domus, with the highest central part, the intimate alcoves veiled by curtains and the Neapolitan yellow tuff walls.
