Honeysuckle Shepherd Hut~Secluded ~Luxury~Hot Tub

Combining the peace and quiet of a rural farm setting in the beautiful Devon countryside with Dartmoor National Park and Lydford Gorge close by makes our quintessential hut the place to stay. A wood burner and underfloor heating make this the ultimate year round escape. While we transport your luggage you can walk along the path to your own hideaway in a field surrounded by native woodland and far reaching views through the valley. Peace and quiet awaits................. (& cake of course!). The space Honeysuckle Hut comprises a fully equipped hand made kitchen, shower room with sink, flushing toilet and heated towel rail. King size bed, wood burning stove, underfloor heating (making your stay cosy at any time of year). Gas oven, fridge with ice box. Linen and towels provided. Outside there is a wood fired hot tub for two and an outdoor shower, bbq/firepit, table and chairs. Blankets, complimentary wood basket. Milk, tea and coffee. As a farming family it is very import to us that we support the local community and that is something we have emulated in the hut. The hut is made in Somerset and many of the items you will see have been made locally. Some are for sale, either directly from us or from their creator. This way we hope you will be able to take a little piece of your stay back home with you. NOTE: if you can’t find the dates of your choice we have two other huts, Buttercup and Cowslip Shepherds Hut. Wood fired Pizza Oven available to hire either on its own or with ingredients for two pizzas. Wood pellets provided. See additional photos for more information. Guest access Your own Luxury Shepherd Hut and Wood Fired Hot Tub. Other things to note No WiFi at the hut but WiFi is available at the farmhouse yard and is free for guests to access. Limited mobile reception however 4G normally available for those that are on EE network. Weather permitting. A washing machine is available in the laundry room in the main yard. There is also an iron and ironing board available, light, power and mirror in the room next to the laundry for hair styling. Please do not hesitate to ask. Please no fireworks, sky lanterns or helium balloons due to close proximity to wildlife and livestock.
