Cowboy Cottage is a lovely rental home centrally located in the town of John Day, Oregon. The unit can be booked as a Vacation Retreat or as Temporary Housing. We are located in a residential neighborhood, directly across from the Grant County fairgrounds and a short, 3-block walk to the downtown restaurants, shops and businesses. This makes it ideal for exploring the town or attending one of the many local events hosted at the fairgrounds. The space Cowboy Cottage is completely furnished with all utilities included, and offers the following features: * Lots of room to relax with a spacious Living Room and Family Room. * A full Entertainment System with Wifi, Roku TV, Netflix and DVD player. * A full Kitchen, complete with appliances, dishes, cookware, etc. * Three Bedrooms that sleep a total of 6 people : - A master bedroom with Queen bed, TV and adjoining Bathroom. - Two additional bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with 2 twins). * A Dining Room with table that seats 6 for those nice family dinners. * A convenient roll-top work desk, for that paperwork that can’t be ignored. * Two full bathrooms (one bathroom is off the Master Bedroom). * A wood burning stove for the chilly winter nights. * A utility room with Washer/Dryer and Utility sink. * A fenced back yard. * Plenty of off-street parking (including 1 covered parking space). Guest access The entire house is available to our guests, including the parking areas, back deck and fenced back yard. Other things to note * We require a two-night minimum stay, Plus a $45 cleaning fee per booking. * There is an addition charge of $10 per night / per adult for the 5th and 6th adults occupying the unit (no charge for children under 18). We ask that no more than 6 people total (children and adults) occupy the unit. * The unit is also available for rental as Temporary Housing, and as such, we like to encourage longer stays. Stays of >30 days start at a 40% discount, but larger discounts may be agreed to - Depending on the length of stay and/or the number of occupants (please inquire by messaging me). * The unit is not set up to accommodate pets, but small, well-behaved pets may be allowed (with a deposit). * Please make yourself at home during your stay, but please treat the property as if it were your own.
