Villa Laras is a unique design, based on the traditional Javanese limasan form. It’s built with beautifully restored antique carved teak panels and contemporary features. The property is a one-hectare, naturally landscaped tropical garden, featuring a dam with fish, a natural creek, tropical trees and traditional Javanese statues, bamboo stands and open grass lawns. The garden is a natural bird refuge and is managed organically to encourage local wildlife. The property is designed to be environmentally friendly, with passive cooling, rain-water harvesting, low-energy appliances, solar power and the use of recycled timber. It has an open air living-room, open-to-sky bathroom and access to the main infinity pool, which faces the sea and enjoys wonderful views, to enhance a relaxing and leisure experience. We have staff available and on call to help make your stay comfortable. It's close to the tourist town-center of Senggigi ( approx. 5 minutes), close to the restaurants and the shops, but far enough to enjoy real peace and harmony in a natural setting. The beach and touristic attractions are easy to reach. Taxis are plenty available and usually come within 10 minutes after calling. We also have a car with driver for airport or harbor transfers and excursions around Lombok. Details on car rental available on request.
