Monet is one of five delightful holiday apartments inside the historic house of ‘Val Rive’, with beautiful riverside views of the Rance. It’s located in the quaint quartier of Léhon on the outskirts of the historic town of Dinan – one of the best-preserved medieval towns in France. Whether visiting the local surroundings or exploring all that Brittany has to offer, Val Rive is the perfect base location. Excellent for walking or cycling holidays! The space Monet’s accommodation consists of an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, a large bedroom and shower room/WC. This first-floor apartment is well equipped and furnished to a high standard in the Bréton style. It affords a beautiful view of the Rance river, and there is also a large, shared, terrace garden complete with patio area to enjoy. Private, off-road parking is situated next to the property. Guest access Guests have access to the main building of Val Rive, the shared patio and large terraced garden. Inside Val Rive there is a room by the stairs on the ground floor with a washing machine, clothes horses and vacuum cleaner which you are free to use. Other things to note We whole-heartedly recommend ‘La Marmite’ restaurant just around the corner in the street immediately to the side of Val Rive. It’s an extremely friendly convivial restaurant, serving traditional French cuisine, using only the best locally sourced ingredients. There is also a lovely boulangerie/pâtisserie, barely 5 minutes walk away in Léhon, selling a wonderful selection of pastries along with fresh loaves for your usual day-to-day requirements.
