Guest access The cottage is only 2 km from the village of Jindera which has many amenities including a supermarket with liquor sales, garage, chemist, bakery, butcher, post office, bank, take-away shop, pizza, a coffee shop and hotel with bistro open 7 days. The village is also home to the award winning Jindera Pioneer Museum, a collection on 2 acres displaying the living conditions of the early pioneers of the district. It incorporates the original Wagners Store, the home of the owners furnished in the style of the period, an authentic slab hut, a wattle and daub cottage, a blacksmith and wheelwright shop, a gallery and extensive machinery and horse drawn carriages. Other things to note Jindera is within close proximity to the Hume Weir, well known for it's fishing, boating, skiing and swimming activities.
