The Love Shack Balnarring Beach

Quirky two bedroom Nissan Hut conversion set amongst the tee trees and driftwood, just a 2 minute walk along a sandy track to Balnarring Beach. Wood fire heater, reverse cycle air conditioning, outdoor deck and BBQ, indoor/outdoor shower, towels and linen provided. NO Wifi encourages guests to get outdoors and explore the surrounding area. The space The Loveshack is a quirky two bedroom cabin, converted from a Nissan hut, situated in a hidden garden, a short 2 minute walk to the beach. NO Wifi encourages guests to get out amongst nature and switch off. Explore the surrounds and enjoy the serenity. A large deck and BBQ area is perfect for entertaining with an outdoor shower to wash sandy feet. Inside you will find a cosy lounge with Coonara wood heater for the cooler months, reverse air conditioning for summer. The kitchen is fully self contained, oven, gas stove, fridge, crockery, cutlery, saucepans. Two bedrooms with double beds include all linen and extra blankets. Porta cot is also available on request. Semi-detached bathroom including laundry facilities. Guest access Guest have sole use of the cabin, deck and immediate garden and share off street parking with the owners. The Loveshack is just a two minute walk to Balnarring Beach and the many wineries, golf courses, spectacular walks and restaurants on the lovely Mornington Peninsula. Other things to note The Loveshack is one of the few original shacks remaining at Balnarring beach. Having been re-located from Lord Somers Camp after the Second world war in 1948. Since then it has remained in the same family and has acted as a local movie house and rumpus room for the children in the local area during the 50's & 60's. The Shack has also had a very long association with the Carlton football club and was the location for pre-season training during the Barassi era.
