The first step in the house will go unnoticed by the beautifully done " Mosaic flooring" back dated since 1934. Also various hand carved sculptures such as the "Climbing Horses" ideally made from a single log of wood. Even the ancient usage of the "Copper Barn with Stirrer" which was an ideal option to boil paddy, husking & storing rice (naturally providing a shell life of 12 months). The antique Portuguese furniture adds up to the beauty of the house. Sink in to our cozy leather lazy boy couch situated in the study room with a variety of books to read. The house consists of a common dining area in which you can admire our ancient original hand carved artefacts. Even there are various other collection of items such as the painted "Ostrich Eggs" and the hand carved candle stand sculptured from the roots of a tree. A one piece cast iron treasure chest framed on a wooden platform over a century old, which used to be treasured by "Ali Baba & 40 thieves" and many more which just cant be described in words. We are neither too big nor too small, including 2 family rooms which comprises of an Attic with two King sized beds, 6 executive bedrooms with one Queen bed and the 1 Cottage by the pool and Jacuzzi, with two double and two single beds. Each bedroom consists of a 43" LCD TV with Tata Sky connection. Also each room is fitted with a ceiling fan, AC, study table, a wardrobe and a safe to secure your belongings. Each room has an attached toilet cum bath(glassed shower area & Jaguar fittings), the walls of which are painted with modern stucco giving it an elegant and a textured finish. All the rooms including the cottage are Wi Fi enabled. The kitchen meets the demand of the Goan culture and all the various amenities such as a - Double door fridge - Water dispenser - Cooking range with 5 burners & inbuilt oven - Microwave - 6 Bread slice toaster - Sandwich maker - Rice cooker - Tea/coffee dispenser - Hot plate - Deep fryer - Pizza oven - Juicer - Various sets of cutlery & crockery. The sumptuous continental and vegetarian breakfast will surely make you feel at home and set you up for the day. The 24 hour snack bar offers unrestricted tea and coffee for the addicts, while the in-house guest will be treated with toasted sandwich, french fries, pizza and juices on demand and at the spur of the moment. The serene swimming pool and the Jacuzzi is ideal place to relax and unwind in the serenity of the trees in the woodland. Set in natural surroundings, the atmosphere remains cool even in hot summers.
