Description
The room is sunny and spacious. It is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris and at 50meters from Glacière station (metro line 6) : on the 7th floor with elevator in a building of the 60s , Corbusier's style. The interior decoration is particularly tasteful, with paintings by the Ecole de Paris, period furniture... The neighbourhood is very green, quiet and exceptionally unpolluted. Close to: FIAP, Hôpital Ste Anne, Hp Cochin, Cité Universitaire, Montparnasse, Sorbonne etc. The space The bedroom is large, with a double bed for one or two persons (bed base + mattress of the Olympe brand), a vintage desk, wifi (fiber optic), 2 large windows, a balcony with a very global view on Paris (exhibition East). The bathroom is adjacent (to be shared occasionally with another bedroom when the latter is occupied, as there are 2 bedrooms in all in my apartment). Everything is provided: sheets, towels, shampoo, hairdryer... Tea, coffee and herbal teas are offered. Kitchen use is not permitted. A French-style breakfast is served every morning in the living room. Guest access Your room is located in my apartment, which is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from the Glacière metro station (line 6), near Place Denfert-Rochereau, Place d'Italie and Parc Montsouris and the "Butte aux Cailles" district. The building has two elevators. Close to tourist and cultural attractions, hospitals and parks: - 5 minutes from FIAP, rue Cabanis. - In front of Hôpital Saint Anne and close to Hôpital Cochin and Val de Grâce. - Latin Quarter: 12-minute walk. - 5 minutes from Parc Montsouris and Avenue Reille. -10-minute walk to Cité Universitaire. -20 minutes from Porte de Versailles (Paris exhibitions, congresses, fairs...) - Catacombs - 7-minute walk - Butte-aux-Cailles neighborhood - 5-minute walk - Luxembourg Park: 15-minute walk - Notre Dame de Paris: 30-minute walk By metro: Latin Quarter (10 min), Notre-Dame (15 min), Eiffel Tower (16 min direct with line 6), Louvre (25 min), Centre Pompidou (25 min), Montmartre (40 min), Disneyland (1h)... For soccer and other sports: Stade Charlety (10-min walk), Stade de France or Parc des Princes (40-min RER). For professionals: The FIAP Convention Center and St Anne Hospital are a 1-minute walk away. Direct access to Paris airports: -Charles de Gaulle Airport with RER B (40 minutes from Denfert-Rochereau station), Orly Airport with OrlyBus (20 minutes from Denfert Rochereau). - Direct access to train stations: Gare Montparnasse 7 minutes by metro line 6, Gare du Nord 11 minutes by RER B, Gare de l'Est 17 minutes by metro line 5 (only one metro change). One metro change to Gare de Lyon (10 minutes) and Gare St Lazare (30 minutes) Buses near me: - Buses 21, 62, 91, 83, 64 Metro stations: Glacière Metro (line 6) 2 minutes by foot You can park your car on the lower floor (paid parking) Two Vélib' stations near the building! (Very practical self-service bike system in Paris) House: I live in a part of the apartment and will be there to welcome you and give you all the useful information based on your needs.
