Beautiful country cottage with tennis court

Our beautiful country cottage lies in the grounds of our lovingly landscaped garden, which we have tended to carefully over the 30 years we have lived here. The cottage, which was originally built around 1850 and is separate to our main house, has recently been renovated to turn it into a charming characterful space that is just perfect for couples, small families, solo adventurers and business travellers. The space Inside the private cottage you will find a living space with a brand new kitchen complete with mod cons including an oven, fridge and espresso maker. Comfy seats crowd round a log burner, which is perfect for creating a snug atmosphere in the evenings, although the underfloor heating in the cottage should keep you nice and toasty. The living room also has a TV and there is wifi available throughout the cottage. Separate to the main living space is a neat bedroom with a comfortable double bed. An oak chest of drawers has been placed in the room to allow you to unpack, and there are hooks to hang up any special items. Just off the bedroom is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Guest access Look through any of the newly restored windows in the cottage and you'll see the garden, a delightful, green retreat that offers spectacular views across the countryside. We'd be delighted to show you round the garden and encourage you to enjoy all that it has to offer, including its own tennis court right next to the cottage. Other things to note We will make sure that the cottage is equipped with towels and fresh bed linen, and that the kitchen is stocked with things such as loose leaf tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread and local free range eggs (all supply dependant) supplied by our neighbour's hens. Dishes and other kitchenware are also provided. Whilst there is only one double bed, we can provide a cot to allow babies and small children to stay in the cottage, and have lots of toys and children’s equipment that we can loan you during your stay. I’m afraid that we don’t allow smoking in the cottage, nor will we accept guests who are travelling with pets. There is off-street parking available in our gated private driveway.
