The NDSM Wharf is one of the most creative and vibrant areas in Amsterdam North. Once a historic shipyard, it has been transformed into a lively hotspot for art, culture, and events. You’ll find impressive street art, artist studios, trendy cafés, restaurants and regular festivals and markets. With its industrial charm and free-spirited atmosphere, the NDSM Wharf attracts both locals and visitors looking for something unique beyond the city center. The room overlooks the calm waters, offering stunning views, the perfect way to wake up. In summer, relax in our garden or on the waterside terrace, or even take a swim also in winter possible. In every season, the peaceful water views create a truly special stay. Guest access During your stay, we want you to feel completely at home, as if this were your own place. You are free to relax wherever you like. The bathroom, kitchen, and living room are shared with us, as well as the outdoor area. The “pool” is the canal itself—perfect for a refreshing swim in the summer. During your stay We also live in this home and enjoy interacting with our guests, while of course respecting your privacy. Bikes are available for rent nearby at NDSM Bikes on the NDSM Wharf. You can also visit Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Edam, or the picturesque garden villages of Amsterdam North. Paid parking is available near the house. Coffeeshop Funny People is within walking distance, and smoking is allowed outside. Amsterdam’s city center offers countless restaurants, bars, and clubs, but North Amsterdam also has many excellent dining options within walking distance. We know them well, so feel free to ask for recommendations. Public transport is just around the corner, frequent and affordable. Ferries to Central Station are FREE, and there’s a night ferry from Central Station to the NDSM Wharf until 2:30 AM. Cycling to Central Station takes about 15 minutes, including a short ferry ride.
