Perched on the mountain’s edge overlooking Hinze Dam and a seemingly endless view of native emerald bushland, this picturesque cabin offers an expansive entertainer's deck with a BBQ, while inside a fireplace keeps you nice and cosy. There are plenty of parks, reserves and walks nearby, while the local General Store and cafe are just a 10-minute stroll from home. If you’d like to get a taste of the Gold Coast’s sun-soaked beaches, you’re just over a 30-minute drive from Surfers Paradise. The space A relaxing and ultra-romantic oasis awaits in this two-bedroom cabin perched on the edge of a mountain with expansive views of surrounding nature. Enjoy a stay that has you feeling good about your environmental footprint, with the use of rainwater tanks for water and a fireplace burning natural wood fire for warmth. Spend your mornings in the well-lit, open-plan living area, relaxing on the comfortable sofas that frame the indoor fireplace and face the flat-screen TV with a sound system. When the weather warms up, step out of the sliding glass doors in the living room and onto an expansive outdoor deck that features a BBQ and alfresco dining table set against a backdrop of emerald treetops. Alongside the living area, you’ll find a stunning timber dining table for six and a spacious fully-equipped kitchen with a noven and electric stove, dishwasher, and all the essential cooking utensils and pantry supplies, including a Nespresso machine and a French press. Cook up a storm in here or use the outdoor BBQ. When it’s time to call it a day, take your pick of one of two rooms. A master bedroom is bright and features a queen bed as well as access to the oversized outdoor deck; while a second bedroom also has a queen bed and features chic, timber bedside tables and built-in wardrobes. An additional small study is ideal for those who need to work remotely and features a desk and an office chair facing the outdoor deck and the luscious mountains beyond. A pristine bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower and a vanity with a mirrored backsplash; while additions include Wi-Fi, air conditioning and ceiling fans, as well as books and other reading material available for your use. Firewood is not supplied. Please bring your own firewood, firelighters, and matches. Guest access During your stay, you and your group will have the entire cabin to yourself. Please make yourself at home! Other things to note Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated, thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, use certain appliances, and anything else you may need to know. Please note, there are stairs with 10-12 steps required to climb to access the property. Please keep young children supervised at all times when on the balcony. There are gaps between the wiring which could pose a safety risk for small children. Due to our home being in the beautiful mountains we try to be as eco friendly as we can. Our home uses tank water, as such we have not installed a washing machine. With the lovely views, you won't want to waste a moment washing anyway. Our meet-and-greet service will incur an additional fee of $25 for check-ins after 9 pm, and $35 after midnight. Please note: We've provided all the essentials to help you settle in comfortably. In the bathroom, you'll find shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and soap in 30ml bottles, as well as two rolls of toilet paper. If you need any additional items, feel free to purchase them up at a nearby store at your convenience.
