A crib and high chair Pets are allowed (on request) The space The house "Papaya 2" belongs together with "Casa Papaya 1", and "Casa Maracuya" to our pampered "Finca Suculenta". It is an old house, completely renovated, approximately 200 years old, just 350 meters above sea level on the beautiful island of La Palma. On the same property, in a separate house, we live with our little dog Fito and our affectionate cats who will surely pay you a visit (watch out if you're allergic!). It has its own separate and private entrance, as are its outdoor areas. It has all kinds of accessories, such as information material about the island, beach toys, board games, books, CD, yoga mat and beach towels (free, upon request) and a CD player with CDs. In addition, WiFi and heating for winter days when temperatures drop a little and a relaxing corner with an electric fireplace that mimics a cozy fire (without giving heat). The bedroom has a double bed (1.60mx2.00m) and a single bed (0.90mx2.00m), a closet and a large mirror. On the ground floor, both the bedroom and the bathroom have the possibility of using doors with mosquito nets for proper ventilation of the rooms and to guarantee the perfect temperature for sleeping in both winter and summer. The fully private terrace and garden are perfect for sunny breakfasts or large barbecues. Access to the bedroom, bathroom, terrace, and garden with barbecue is through an outside covered stairwell from the living room with kitchen, which is on the first floor of the building. There is also a community washing machine that can be used for free (you just have to buy detergent). Towels, bedding, carpets, and kitchen towels can be exchanged for clean ones as many times as you wish during your stay, just let me know. Toilet paper and trash bags for the stay are not included in the price but will be provided for the day of arrival. The "Casa Papaya 2" (about 55 m2 plus a large terrace and garden) in combination with the "Casa Papaya 1" (also advertised on AIRBNB, about 70 m2 plus a partially covered terrace), located in the same building, have a capacity for a total of 9 people (children up to 12 years stay free), so it is perfect for example if you travel with grandparents or friends. Each has its own house, but you live next door. The two units are separated with exterior doors to ensure complete privacy. There is also a common garden, where you can visit my numerous water turtles, pampered cats or harvest aromatic plants such as basil, sage, parsley etc. Pets are allowed (on request), (please take note of the rules) If you wish, I can help you with the rental of an inexpensive car or motorcycle or inform you about how to make guided tours to the new volcano, which is approximately 130 meters away. Guest access There is a common garden where you can visit the water turtles, harvest aromatics and maybe with luck some fruit depending on the season.
