Quiet , comfy and close to the CBD. If you're coming to Brisbane to visit the CIty, QPAC or Southbank Parklands, then my place will suit you perfectly. Just 6 km to the city, it is a quick drive or better still, the express bus is at the door and will have you in town in around 10 minutes. If you're visiting for work , the freeway will have you at the Gold or Sunshine Coasts easily while Holland Park is in a central location to get you around Brisbane. The space During your stay, you will have the lower floor to yourself (apart from my office) which includes your bedroom with TV and table , a private bathroom , toilet , and back deck surrounded by native trees.There is basic kitchenette with Microwave , toaster , kettle , coffee pod machine and fridge with crockery and cutlery, The lower floor is segregated by a locked door , so your privacy and health safety is assured and if you wan't to chat or ask a question, I'm just upstairs. Your bedroom was originally my Theatre Room, so it is quiet , has AC, and can be darkened during the day if you need to sleep! Of course , due to Covid , strict cleaning of your space is done after every guest (which was done always) and self check-in is provided . My house backs onto a large park , that's perfect for walking and sports , and there are bush walking trails in Toohey Forest , a short drive away . Guest access Guests have access to their own bathroom , bedroom , lower deck and private front entrance. The laundry also has a small kitchenette with a fridge and Microwave ,to make tea /coffee and breakfast. : Please note there is no hotplates or stove, only Microwave. Other things to note Crazy Possums!! Depending on the season, native Possums can go a bit crazy at night , and even though they are not that big or aggressive, they can sound like someone running across the roof ! They do look cute , but have very sharp tiny claws for climbing trees , so it's best to look and not touch ! Please note that there is strictly NO SMOKING in the house or on the deck.
