Moonrise Farm can be home to a number of 5th wheel and RV campers, tiny house dwellers, and Airbnb guests at any time. For most of the year, it's only home to the host, Maureen, who occupies the farmhouse at the front of the property. The surrounding area is rural but not completely isolated. The farm is 20 miles from Gainesville, 12 miles from downtown Alachua (a quaint but full-service little town), and 7 miles from a country neighborhood - Lake Butler - with all the essentials, including an independent grocery store, a few restaurants, urgent care, and a small hospital. Y'all means ALL at this farm. We appreciate your business and respect your humanity -- which includes your race, nation of origin, sexuality, gender expression, and personal style.
