Located in the heart of Geneva, neighbouring Saint Pierre Cathedral with an underground museum featuring history of Geneva back to the Roman times 121 BC. Art galleries, cafes and museums are at the doorstep, 5 min on foot to the main shopping street, 7 min to the lake, about 20 min to the train station. Our building is quite special: famous artists, lawyers and musicians live here. This is exactly where In 2012, George Clooney has helped raising funds for Obama campaign during privately hosted dinner held by one of the very special residents. A party at the roof of this very building! I was there but missed the party because I had to work late on my research project, imagine! Hopefully, next time I can shake G. Clooney's hand! The studio comprises a living room with a very comfortable double bed. There is a comfy sofa for relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea, a book or a drink. You will find an elegant marble desk to use as an office and a coffee table by the sofa. A bathroom with a bathtub has a fine selection of soaps, shampoos and body lotions at your disposal. A small kitchen place has all necessary equipment for making a hot or a cold drink (including a cocktail set), and also for cooking a nice dinner. There is a freezer, small but very efficient, which is perfect for making ice-cubes or storing an ice-cream on a hot day. A small library contains books in five different languages I have collected over years while moving countries for work. I have stayed in Geneva over five years and the studio bears personal impressions of my life here. I will be so glad to share a small portion of my life with you! P.S. The place should be ideal for a single person or a couple. Unfortunately, the studio is not suitable for small children but please, get in touch, maybe we find a solution.
