There is a car park at the top of the Westbury White Horse however it is only a short walk as the house is at the bottom of the hill; the road behind the house is the shortest route and will take you directly there although there are more scenic and beautiful routes so just ask and I'll be happy to help. You can also start from / end many of the local countryside walking routes from the house. If you have an infant in your group please ensure you include them on your reservation and let me know if you require a cot. Our cot is not left out at the house but I will happily set one up for you in the room of your choosing, ready for your arrival. You will find all the essential equipment and modern comforts you will need on holiday and away from home but if there is anything specific you require or are unsure whether it’s provided please do ask and I’ll be happy to assist. Guest access The house, front and back garden and drive are not shared with anyone. Guests can access the whole house except for a few locked cleaning / laundry cupboards. Other things to note A detailed information pack for the house as well as on local attractions and amenities will be available to guests prior to the stay as well as printed at the property. Conforming to holiday let mandatory legislation, prior to arrival guests will be sent a fire safety document which gives key information advised by the fire service and details fire escape routes and safety equipment at the house. Guests need to confirm they have read this document. There is a single sofa bed available to guests in the green bedroom to cater for a child who wants to sleep in with their parents or those friends / family members who would rather not share the double or king bed. There is also a small double sofa bed with memory foam mattress downstairs providing an option for a fifth bedroom which is also opposite a ground floor shower room with toilet/basin. Please note sofa beds will set up automatically for bookings with more than 8 guests; both set up for 10, 1 sofa bed for 9. Fewer than 8 guests there is a small charge to set up the sofa beds and you would need to let me know or alternatively please mention to me that you will be using either sofa bed so I can leave out the memory foam mattress and please just remember to bring bedding for the sofa beds if you wish to use them, as the mattress topper /linen/ bedding for them isn't left out. I have a travel cot and highchair to cater for one infant; please let me know if you'd like me to set the cot up for your stay because the cot is not left out. If there are any more infants then please do bring extra. The house is located on the edge of Salisbury Plain so it isn't unusual to hear the occasional military training exercises taking place in the distance on the hill or the odd aircraft flying over. In addition there is some construction work (nearing the end of the project) in a field down the road from the house during weekdays only between 8-4.
