Every room has a breathtaking view of the lake, providing you with a peaceful outlook from the moment you wake up and take a breath of the fresh clean morning air surrounded only by the serenity of nature and its resonant sounds of native birds doing their morning rituals. Property is absolute lake frontage. Inground heated spa available for guest use Its so relaxing , you will want to set aside a full day or two just to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Take a canoe out on the lake, fish, catch a redclaw, sunbake, read and relax - chill out and just enjoy being you. Avid birdwatchers will thoroughly enjoy an abundance of different varieties of native birds which come and go, easy to spot on the property. Its easy to explore this wonderful region by car. Enjoy the natural highlights of the area with its multitude of waterfalls, rainforest and bush walking tracks. Crater lakes, historic sites and quaint townships of Yungaburra, Malanda, Milla Milla, Atherton and Herberton are all an easy drive in the vicinity of the farm house for relaxed pace day trips. Nearest township with fuel/supermarket/restaurant/pub etc is approx 15 mins drive. Cairns international/domestic airport is approx 1.5 hr drive. Guest house - Br 1 - 1 Queen bed. Airconditioner,ceiling fan, elec blankets in winter and , heater. Adjacent to main bathroom with bath/shower/separate toilet. Br 2 - 1 Queen Bed, 1 Single Bed. Ceiling fan, reverse cycle AC, elec blankets in winter. Private ensuite/seperate toilet. Enjoy your bath or shower with an outdoor view of the lake. Share laundry with washing machine, dryer and undercover clothes line accessible from hallway. More than 4 guests? Contact owner a third bedroom can be added for extra cost - up to 2 persons is an additional $100 per night for the entire duration of the 2br booking. Cost will be paid directly to owner. 1 Double and small single bed without ensuite. This bedroom will use the same bathroom as Br2.. (The toilet and vanity basin is in a separate room to the bathroom, access from the hallway). Room faces lake with glass double door access to balcony , aircon, ceiling fan, elec blankets in winter. Adults only. Small Pet- contact owner - usually it is ok, but need to contact owner to discuss this first. Owner generally resides at property in a private unit located at southern end of the main building. Offering peace of mind if you need any assistance and far enough out of the way if you don't. Guest unit is fully private . Seperate entrance at North end of house via external stairway. Balcony and both bedrooms open onto front Balcony. There is a hallway along the back of the bedrooms with access to kitchen/lounge area and share laundry. Arrangements regarding key to Guest Unit and driving directions will need to be made prior to arrival. WIFI available, . WIFI can sometimes be slow due to location but usually fine. Most mobile phones will get coverage - telstra phone access is generally good. Stays of 1 week or longer available by arrangement at discounted rates.
