You can easily walk to the centre via the peaceful canal in only 18 minutes, with swans and barges on the way. In 5 minutes by car or 10 mins by bus and you'll be in the City Centre on Glasgow's famous Style Mile. The handy private driveway outside makes parking a pleasure if you come by car. Handy bus stops near the house have a bus every 10 minutes to the to the city centre. Private taxis to the centre or west end are also a very cheap and fast. Or why not take a short walk to the city centre via the nearby clyde canal, it's a beautiful walk on a dry sunny day, you'll see barges, boats and if you are lucky gorgeous swans with their young signets in tow. Along the way you can stop at the canal side cafe Ocho for a coffee! Relax in the back garden or lovely living/dining room in front of the 42” TV. Why not go into the specialist Chinese supermarket located minutes away and make yourself a gourmet meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a bath/shower and the whole house is central heated and stylishly decorated. A peaceful cosy home to stay in, very clean and crisp decoration gives it a unique feel. You'll have full access to all rooms in the house along with the front driveway and back garden. The house is located in a peaceful hidden cul de sac with pleasant friendly neighbours. There is a large specialist supermarket within 2 minutes walk from the house alongside the fantastic award winning Seawoo oriental restaurant (specialises in Chinese and seafood). . Nearby there is also an indoor children's softplay within 5 minutes walk. Several service stations, supermarkets and convenience stores are a short walk away, Seawoo specialist supermarket and restaurant within 2 mins walk, Lidl and Iceland supermarkets in short walk from the house and also a huge 24 hour Tesco superstore located within 5 minutes drive. (see the guide book for these). There is free private parking on the driveway for up to 2 cars, further parking is available around the house and general area. Via car/taxi, you can easily get to the main parts of the city centre or the west end in 5 to 10 minutes and generally private taxis only costs around £4, this much cheaper than parking for an hour in the city center! Two bus stops are available a few walk minutes from the house. City centre buses pass every 10 minutes and will have you in the city in 10-15 minutes too. Two underground train stations are a 15-20 minute walk, from there you have access to the underground tube network which links you all over glasgow. If you have never been to Glasgow before, try to avoid travelling during rush hour, generally 5pm to 6pm can be very busy. Guest access Guests will have full access to all rooms in the house, private parking on the driveway outside and can also relax in the back garden. Other things to note Strictly no smoking or vaping in the house (including kitchen and bathrooms, other guests and the owners will smell your smoke regardless of your attempts to disguise it so please be respectful and smoke outside). The house is laid out with living room and kitchen on ground level, bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, if you have any mobility issues please take this into account.
