Set in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, our dog-friendly cottage sits on the main artery of North Wales, the A5 and nestled between Betws-y-Coed, the Ogwen Valley and the Snowdon Horseshoe. If it is location that you are after, then you cant really get better than here. Sit around our stunning decked firepit (shared with the neighbouring hostel) overlooking the Snowdonia Horseshoe after your day in the mountains. 10% discount to all Zipworld sites - please contact us for more information The space The cottage, gated and secure from the hostel grounds, is beautifully furnished, with 3 large bedrooms - 2 double beds & 1 quad room (x4 single beds) complete with fresh towels, a comfy mattress, cosy hypoallergenic bedding and warm Welsh wool blankets. It has a large, well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, leading through to a dining room seating 8 people comfortably and a spacious living room complete with two large sofas, a wood burner and a large flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. There is high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building. The ample garden/patio space is ideal for al fresco dining, which also boasts a generous lawn space for children, dogs and enthusiastic adults to run around! Adjoining Wales' only 5* boutique hostel, it boasts brilliant walks for the novice to the expert straight from the front door and a stones throw from The National Mountain Centre where you can indulge in any manner of mountain or extreme sports. In addition, it is equidistant to the various exhilarating Zipworld sites, as well as Adventure Parc in the nearby Conwy Valley. The local transport service, 'The Sherpa' stops right outside the cottage to either take you into the beautiful picture-postcard Betws-y-Coed, with its string of shops bars and restaurants, or the other direction to England and Wales' highest and most diverse mountain range - each direction being a short 10 minute drive away. If you care to venture out in the evening, we are less than a 10 minute walk from of Snowdonia's best public houses, Tyn y coed. Whether you are relaxing with a drink in hand admiring the unspoilt view of a Snowdon sunset or sat cosily on the sofa in the living room next to the fire, our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable and as comfortable as possible. Guest access The cottage has outside private living space, with two patio areas and a large contained lawn which is great for children and dogs to run around safely at the rear of the building. Check-in is from 4pm on the day of booking. Other things to note While we are dog friendly, we can only accept up to 2 medium dogs per stay. Please note that we do have a neighbouring farm so dogs are best kept on a lead at all times when outside.
