Cosy and quiet guest house in the park of an historic villa with view on the bay of Rapallo, few steps away from the sea. It accommodates up to 6 guests in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Overlooking a pedestrian street with no traffic you can fall asleep listening to the waves washing on the beach. The house is completed by a living room and an open kitchen with dining table for 6 people. Access to the house is through a private garden that allows one parking place. The space The house is nestled in a private park surrounded by a larger public park, hence extremely quiet. It offers a breathtaking view over the bay of Rapallo and the Tigullio Gulf. Despite being in a quiet and isolated neighbourhood, it is 5 minutes away from the city center, restaurants, bars and shopping area. Public transport - busses and ferries - are recommended to visit Portofino, just 9 Km away, San Fruttuoso (only by ferry) and Camogli while the train station (10 minutes walking) gives you access to Genoa and its historic buildings, churches, monuments, museums and the well known aquarium. Driving is recommended to visit the world-famous compound of Cinque Terre, just 40 minutes driving from Rapallo. The house location makes it a perfect gateway for a visiting holiday around Liguria or a relaxing holiday spending your time sunbathing and enjoying the warm sea water and delicious food. Beach clubs are available in Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure (6 Km) and Paraggi (8Km), one of the most charming bay in the area. Guest access Guest have full access to the house that is independent from the main property. Other things to note Please note: - every year on July 1st to 3rd in Rapallo there is a religious celebration and at night they shoot fireworks that attract a lot of visitors. Traffic is crazy and going to bed before 1am/1:30am is impossible because of the fireworks. For the same reason, they lock down the area around my place every night from 7:30pm until the end of fireworks for safety reasons. Accessing my place between 7:30pm and 1:30am is impossible - since 2018 a restaurant nearby started to play music (pretty loudly) on Thursdays until 1am.
