Sunrise Room Studio, beach access, garden views,

Our house is on the beachfront in Sunset Beach with direct access to the sea and views of the sea and mountain. We have four rooms; all have en-suite bathrooms. None of the rooms have TVs. Robben Island and Table Mountain Rooms: sea and mountain facing on the 1st floor. Access is through the main house where we also live. Dolphin Room: ground floor sea and mountain facing, separate entrance studio with kitchenette. Sunrise Room: first floor east-facing, separate entrance studio with kitchenette. The space Sunrise Room is a furnished studio apartment (6m x 5m) with a double bed, sofa bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin. The sofa bed has two separate single (60 cm) mattresses and will only be suitable for children or teenagers. The room is equipped with a kitchenette containing a full-sized fridge and freezer, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Tea, filter coffee and sugar will be available in your room. Towels and bed linen are supplied. There is direct access to the sea from the house. The room is NOT serviced on a daily basis, but clean towels can be supplied every 3 to 4 days on request. The linen will be changed and the room cleaned once every 7 days. Feel free to use the facilities in our garden, such as the pool, trampoline, outdoor braai / barbecue, outside shower and a patio with views to the sea and mountain. We have lockable storage racks where kite- and wind-surfing equipment can be stored. We do not offer a facility for washing clothing, but there is a commercial laundry 2 km from the house at Paddocks Shopping Mall. Note that we have solar panels, an inverter and batteries to help during electricity outages. Guest access Guests will have separate access to their studio apartment . Keys will be provided. We do not have space for on-site parking, but ample parking is available on the street, where no problems have been encountered to date. The neighbourhood security company monitoring Sunset Beach seems to be effective in keeping criminal elements out of the area. Other things to note The sea directly in front of our house is a world-renowned paradise for kite-surfers and wind-surfers. On non-windy days people surf or use their standup paddle boards, or relax on the white beach sand. There is a strip of nature in front of the house with wild flowers and many bird species. Table Mountain forms an impressive backdrop towards the left and Robben Island is visible in front of the house. Sunsets are often magical. Note that the V&A Waterfront is 14 km from our house.
