The Barn@Graham House

Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Barn@Graham House has far reaching views right across Swaledale and is the perfect location for guests looking for a relaxing stay. The Barn@Graham House has been lovingly restored and converted into a unique self contained 1-bedroom holiday cottage where modern facilities combine with the property’s rural heritage. Easy access to several hiking trails. The space This gorgeous, comfy cottage is all on one level and consists of two open plan rooms with underfloor heating throughout. The first room contains a well-equipped bespoke kitchen with Belfast sink, a dining table with seating for two, and a comfortable living room area with exposed stone wall and original beams. The second room consists of an en-suite master bedroom with a king size bed, roll-top bath and rainfall shower above. Please note that bathroom is within the bedroom, as can be seen on the photographs. Outside, you’ll find a small private and enclosed south facing garden with spectacular views across Swaledale. The two photos of the back garden show the enclosing wall at its lowest level. Attention to detail is everywhere, with quirky touches such as the hand crafted kitchen and many rustic finishes reflecting the barn’s rural heritage. The large, comfortable bed has a hotel quality mattress and crisp, luxurious bedding. The large window in the living area offers breathtaking views across the dale, and you may well find a sheep gazing in at you as you gaze out! Guest access The cottage is accessed via a shared driveway leading to your designated parking space in front of The Barn. On the right hand side of the driveway is an external 3pin power source to charge Plug-in Hybrid or fully electric vehicles ( at an additional cost). Completely separate to the main house and with a private garden to the front and side, guests can enjoy privacy. There is direct access from your private garden into the wooded area which has its own outdoor table and chairs (or Hammock on request). Guests are free to wander up through the land to the side of the barn and up to the small copse, where the famous Coast to Coast route passes through. There is easy access to many other established footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes. For those wanting to a little walk further, the Georgian market town of Richmond is only 10 miles away and offers many restaurants, pubs, teashops and the chance to browse the weekly market and monthly farmers market.
