Nestled in one of Perth's most sought after beachside suburbs, this cozy, little, original 3 x 1 beach cottage, comfortably sleeps 1-4 people (there is a maximum of 6 guests), has a large dog friendly yard … and is close to the best of everything in Perth! Stroll to an array of beautiful beaches, popular cafes and local shops, with the tourist enclaves of Scarborough Beach & Sorrento Quay just 5-7 mins drive away respectively! Furry family members (2 dogs) are as welcome as those less hairy! The space From the moment you arrive the relaxed beach vibe is evident - and flows right through the house from the front door to the backyard. You will have no option but to unwind and recharge your soul! Guests will have the entire property to themselves, consisting of our cosy 3 x 1 cottage, the outdoor entertaining space and a fully enclosed large backyard. With bleached jarrah floorboards throughout (and little patches of 'natural' jarrah poking through), this property is both durable and rustically fabulous! Salty toes and paws are always welcome! The renovated galley style kitchen sits next to the small dining space and has been stocked with everything needed for your getaway (gas stove, microwave, Caffitaly coffee machine (please BYO pods), compact dishwasher, pots and pans, crockery, glassware etc). Should kitchen time not be your style on a staycation, there are a plethora of fabulous cafes and restaurants practically on your door step. There is a large outdoor dining table should you wish to enjoy the fresh air and garden scene ... and a Balinese daybed on which to while away the day. The tropical outdoor shower is a delightful end to a beach trip .... or even just the day! Each of the 3 small bedrooms have been lovingly decorated with relaxation and the beach as the inspiration. They are also fitted with ceiling fans (the main has aircon too), just in case the sea breeze hasn't quite come in yet! Our renovated bathroom has a large bench, ample storage space in the drawers underneath for your personal needs, a walk in shower and rainwater shower head. There is a fully functional laundry - although you may be too busy relaxing to even contemplate using it :-) Off street parking is available for 2-3 cars - or any of the 'motorised toys' that may accompany you on your holiday. We are accepting of well behaved children, who know how to respect someone else’s home and the home’s rules. Children must be actively supervised outside to ensure their safety (we have outdoor steps, a sloping block and a multi-tiered yard). Children under 8yo will be accommodated in a shared double bed or can have the 3rd bed prepared for a $35 fee (linen costs). If there are more than 2 children under 8yo, the 3rd bed will be set up). Those aged 8yo+ can use a double bed each - or as they choose. (Please see the House Rules for further expectations, regarding travelling to our Beach House with children). As dog lovers ourselves, 'Puppies & Pancakes' provides a safe backyard, should you choose to venture out without your fur baby. There is a 1.5m high gate on each side of the property through which to access the backyard. The RHS of the property has a 1.8m Colourbond fence. The LHS has Super 6 fencing that ranges in height from 1.35m to 1.6m. The back perimeter has been upgraded with a Bamboo fence at 1.8m high. Your pet dog(s) are welcome inside - as we believe they like to be with you, as much as you do with them! Please ensure they don't go on any of the inside furniture, to help preserve it and keep it clean for our next guests (many of whom don't have pets). A dog bed is provided for your fur baby - so please do advise us of your dog breed at the time of booking. ** Smokers (of any kind) are not permitted to stay at our home. There is strictly NO Smoking anywhere on our property - so please do not book if you or anyone in your group is a smoker! Fines apply ** Guest access Guests will have full and exclusive access to the cottage and our entire property during their stay. Other things to note Please note - as this property is positioned on a sloping block and some steps are present outside, along with a tiered yard, we feel it could be a little tricky / unsafe for young children and / or the elderly. Whilst the house itself is on one level, there are 6 large steps down to the alfresco area from the carport and 3 steps and a small slope from the backdoor down to the backyard.
