Six individually styled en-suite bedrooms upstairs with piles of fluffy towels and crisp linen. Enjoy the gardens, with rambling roses and soak in the wood fired hot tub. The space Sorrel House is a former 18th century Georgian coaching inn set in the lea of a picturesque Grinshill in grade one listed landscape, in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. A substantial breakfast hamper is included in the price and guests can make use of comfortable lounge areas, a large kitchen, games room, dining room, a bar, hot tub, fountain and pretty gardens at the front and rear of the property with views over the Shropshire countryside. Accommodation sleeps 12 but can be available for up to 14 people on request. The owners can arrange in advance for light meals, afternoon tea and private dining options, as well as recommend local takeaways, pubs and restaurants in the area. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages and make use of the crockery, glassware and kitchen equipment, there is large fridge/freezer and also extra refrigeration for bottled drinks. Please note there is an additional charge to use the hot tub. To avoid disappointment guests must contact us at the time booking to make use of this feature. Guest access Five of the six en-suite rooms offer super king beds which can be split into two large singles. The sixth bedroom has twin beds. All rooms have bath as well as shower with the exception of one which has a wet room. Large lobby with wood burner. Large games room with bar, pool table, table tennis table, jigsaw table and open fireplace. Adjacent snug lounge with open fire and television. Guests can enjoy lovely walks or cycling routes from the doorstep or walk down to the local train station (1 mile) to catch a train into the historic town of Shrewsbury or perhaps further afield.( Direct trains to/from Manchester and Crewe). Other things to note Receive 10% off the nightly price if you extend your stay to a week. Three day weekend breaks work out 10% cheaper per night than 2 night stays (excluding bank holidays). The price stated per night is based on house exclusivity for a minimum of two nights for up to 12 guests. An additional £35 per night will be charged for each extra bed. All bedrooms can be turned into twin rooms if required. Additional charge for use of the hot tub. A guest welcome letter detailing all information relating to the property is provided along with a comprehensive local map featuring the beautiful walks.
