"In the Heart of Val Dieu", I am pleased to offer you a room for 2 people on the second floor of my pavilion with terrace, in a picturesque village, home of the National Forest Park. This detached house is located 13 km from the nearest highway exit. Looking forward to hosting you! The space The "Blue" room, upstairs from my single-family home, includes free Wi-Fi, a comfortable 140 cm wide bed, a desk area and an elliptical trainer. Bed and bath linens are provided. The floor is carpeted: no shoes, food or drinks are allowed in the room. In the entrance of the house, you will find a box of clean slippers, of all sizes, at your disposal. You are kindly requested to leave your shoes on the ground floor. On the same floor is the bathroom with bathtub and toilet, to share with other guests and the host's family. Sponge and cleaning products are available to allow other users to find the premises clean after your visit. Your garbage is to be taken away. This building dates back to 1991, it remains the memory of the family with all its Soul and some imperfections that appeal to your indulgence. Far from the perfectionism of some homes, the Spirit of the house offers above all to make the stay of its guests as pleasant as possible. Optional additional services and according to my availability to be checked by a request for information before your booking: - Homemade organic breakfast, to be booked, with hot drinks, cake, pancakes, bread, butter, honey and homemade jams for €7 per person. - Homemade organic evening meal, to be booked, with appetizer-starter-main course-dessert for €17 per person. - Provision of a standard baby bed 132 cm x 71 cm for €7. My kitchen and dining area remain private spaces, not accessible to guests. Only guests who have booked their breakfast and/or evening meal have access to my kitchen. You can still have the outdoor terraces at the front and back of the house to picnic independently, committing to leave the premises clean, while managing your waste. Payment is made on site and in cash for all additional services concerning evening meals, breakfasts, rental of the baby bed, etc. Please plan ahead before you arrive as there are no ATMs in Arc-en-Barrois. The hosting conditions are suitable for pilgrims on the Via Francigena and the Camino de Santiago. Please specify this when booking. Possibility of an energy treatment by appointment to be paid on-site in cash. I also offer the rental of 2 additional bedrooms on the first floor of my pavilion: the "Green" room for 1 person (115 cm wide bed) and the "Zen" room for 2 people (140 cm wide bed). Restaurants and small shops in the city center. To visit on site: The ice house, the steam engine, among others. The Tourist Office in town will give you more information. To avoid any disappointments, this information must be shared with the person(s) sharing the rental with you. Guest access Free parking is available in front of the house along the sidewalk. During your stay I will be contactable by cell phone and will make myself available as much as possible. Important: French is the only language I speak fluently! My knowledge of English and German is very basic. If necessary, I use the translator on my mobile phone, which is very useful and functional even if it involves manipulations that may seem tedious. Other things to note When to use energy care? My energy treatments consist of sending the Universal Energy, the Energy of the Life Force, through the laying on of hands. The practitioner will leave their hands on different parts of the body for a few minutes. The recipient is lying down and remains clothed during all the affixations.
