Description

Our family currently resides in La Trinidad in Benguet so we are opening our house in Sagada to all adventurers seeking the mountain air. This room contains 2 double-deck beds and 1 double bed in our home in the outskirts of central Sagada. It is best for people who have their own vehicles and those who would want to stay in a place away from the town's busy streets. We ask interested guests to read our listing descriptions so to manage expectations. -Xylene&Kenneth The space [Room] The room is large enough to fit a group of 6 people sharing the space. You may check the photos for the interior, common areas, and amenities. [Bathroom] The bathroom is private and inside the room. Guests may also use a shared comfort room in the living room a floor below. [Location] We are located in the outskirts of Sagada and are 2kms away from the town center. Our property is gated and surrounded by pine and alnus trees. There are only a handful of restaurants and bars near us. — Big Dipper: 400m — Rusty Nail: 600m — Rock Inn & Restaurant: 900m — Misty Lodge and Restaurant: 700m — Caja Sagada: 1km — Rock Cafe (bar): 1.2km — Inatep Restaurant: 1.4km We are also around 1km from the drop-off point for the Marlboro Country Sunrise Hike. [Accessibility] Sagada is a walk town (no tricycles or taxi cabs) so we would prefer guests who have their own vehicles as we are located in the outskirts. They may also opt to hire local shuttles for their tours lest they walk. Our home is also accessible via a DIRT ROAD of approx. 200m long from the main road before it reaches our gate. It can get muddy here when it rains so this is important to take note of. Guest access There's a shared living room outside the room. A flight of stairs below is another common area with a TV, couches, and an electrical fireplace. On this same level is also a dining area and a dirty kitchen for those who want to cook (we charge a minimal fee of Php 300 for the group). The books and board games are free to be used as long as they are returned properly. We also have a bonfire area for those who enjoy campfire conversations and s'mores. [Services] If we are in the property during your stay, there would most likely be hot water and coffee or tea provided. We would also be available for assistance 24 hours. We also have an in-house food menu you could order from; the nearby restaurants would be other options for dining needs. Other things to note Just to reiterate: — We are a tad distant from the town center (~2kms) but we are relatively near some restaurants and tourist sites. — You have to pass through a 150m dirt road to get to our gate. — Mobile/data coverage is limited or weak. — We have free parking. — We are surrounded by trees and it is quiet at night. — Guests can access lots of common areas in the house.
