Charming self-contained cabin in the heart of Creuse

COME AND DISCOVER OUR ETHICAL AND ECOLOGICAL HOMES IN THE HEART OF CREUSE. An area of 47 m2 with a 35 m2 terrace. Our cabins are accessible to people with disabilities. They are autonomous, they are not connected to the electricity, water and gas networks. They are made of Douglas wood, insulated with hemp wool, wood and linen. They are located on the HUSKIN CREUSE site, which offers walks with huskies. A touch of Canada... The space The cabin has a capacity of 5 people. The cabins are equipped with: - a drinking water tank with a capacity of about 50 liters of water per person per day, - solar panels on roofs, for lighting and some sockets, - gas bottles, to supply stove and oven, fridge, and water heater: everything is gas, - a wood-burning stove with oven, with wood available, - a brazier on the terrace, for cooking and outdoor heating - dry toilets, equipped with an integrated hygienic bucket. However, if you were out of one of these resources during your stay, your host will come to help you as soon as possible! Most of the furniture and dishes have been recovered and come to live a new life in the cabins. The kitchen furniture was designed and offered by the Beaumont-Cuisines et intérieurs agency in Chamborand, Creuse. This ecological and ethical approach will allow each of us to assess our needs and save energy and natural resources, while respecting the environment. This stay can be a great experience for families or groups of friends. We are all committed and we will feel the satisfaction and happiness of being an actor of a real change in society, which will allow us to reconnect to the essential and to others. The Nemo Cabin has: Bedroom 1: 10 m2 with two beds (2 single beds). It is possible to bring the beds together to have a double bed. Bedroom 2: 7 m2 with a 3-seater bunk bed (double bed at the bottom, single bed at the top) Mezzanine: 10 m2 with a sofa bed. Bathroom: accessible to people with reduced mobility with dry toilet and shower (in order to save energy, shower times are as follows: from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) Kitchen/living room: 16 m2 equipped with a refrigerator, a gas stove with stove and wood oven. Terrace: 35 m2 with hammock, tables and chairs and a brazier, heating and barbecue. Bed linen and towels are not provided. It is not allowed to go to the Husk'in grounds without the presence of Julien, who manages the activities. However, you will be able to book your activity with Julien and Fanny. Other things to note The cabins are located on the grounds of Husk'in Creuse, an association that offers rides in Cani Kart, Cani Rando, Cani Trotte. Please note that there is no Cani Kart outing in summer due to temperatures that are too high for dogs.
