THE GOON

Welcome to "The Goon" -- An affectionate term for Yangon, which in colonial times was called Rangoon. We are located 10 minutes (4 km) from Yangon Airport. The traffic in Yangon can be bad, so we are the best place for a quick arrival from the airport and a quick departure when it is time to leave. We are in a very traditional Burmese area with many shops and temples. Stop by our Fashion Cafe on the ground floor and pick up your key. We are happy to answer any questions you have about Myanmar. The space Our apartment is a clean, quiet place to relax and recharge your battery. The size is 720 square feet divided into 4 rooms (kitchen, main bedroom, second bedroom, living room). We have a spectacular Sky Garden down the hall from the apartment with plants, fish and birds that overlooks Yangon. You can see several temples gleaming in the night. Guest access We are on the top floor. The elevator lift operates from 5am to 10pm, so if you arrive back late, take the stairs. On the ground floor, you will find 24 hour convenience shops, restaurants with local food, fresh fruits, massage, travel agents, money exchange shops. Other things to note The Portable WiFi unit has to be topped up with credit before use. We will help you do this, and it is pay-as-you-go. The elevator closes at 10pm -- so if you come back late, take the stairs. When you want to check out, just leave the key in the room, and close the door. Thanks for staying with us.
