Shillinghurst Cottage is the perfect getaway for a relaxing break for friends, couples or a family break. It is cosy, comfortable yet modern and comes with everything you would expect to make it the ideal home away from home. Set in the heart of the beautiful village of Borden, it will suit individuals who like country walks, relaxing in a peaceful surrounding or exploring the many towns and cities nearby. The space The cottage is situated in the countryside. There is the P&H Greek Taverna directly next to the cottage and the award winning Oad Street Food & Crafts just across the road. Serving breakfast /brunch its very popular. The town of Sittingbourne is just a 10 minute drive where you will find all the large supermarkets. Not only are there many idyllic field walks right on your doorstep, but Leeds Castle is just a 15 min drive away, Canterbury a 30 min drive and you can reach one of Kent's many beaches as quickly as 20 mins. Oad Street is less than a mile from the M2, making it perfect for transport links and getting around and the famous Detling Showground, which hosts hundreds of events every year is just 10 minutes from the cottage. Other things to note - No parties/events - No smoking/vaping inside. - Pets are allowed . Please don’t allow them on the beds, or upstairs. - video doorbell active. - One basket of logs will be left for you. - The Nespresso coffee machine takes nespresso vertuo pods only available online at nespresso ( a few will be left for you ) - You may be charged up to £300 for damages to the property if any occur
