Ideal for Cheltenham races. Nestled in the heart of the stunning Cotswolds countryside, our Wayside Retreat hut provides the perfect location for a relaxing break. Just a stone throw from the Cotswold Way with many other beautiful walks on the doorstep, its a great choice for walkers. The space The small but cosy shepherds hut has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Tucked away with its own private garden, private exclusive use of hot tub and natural wildlife pond, surrounded by fruit trees and far-reaching views over an area of outstanding natural beauty, Wayside Retreat really is a perfect hide away all the year round. There is a lovely sunny spot outside the property with patio and garden area, table and chairs and sun loungers for relaxing are provided. Settle in and treat the space as your own. Wayside Retreat has a 6 person electric hot tub that will be heated ready for when you arrive. Inside, the hut has a double bed and a separate bathroom with fully functioning toilet, sink and shower. For those winter’s evenings there’s a log burner and oil filled radiator. For your entertainment there is a 32” smart tv, with Sky and Netflix, unlimited wi-fi and a Bluetooth speaker for use in the hut or by the hot tub. The kitchenette is complete with everything you’ll need through your stay, including a fridge; double induction hob; combination microwave; kettle; toaster and coffee pod machine, literally everything you need to cook a light meal or for a good old fry up! For those warm summer days there’s a charcoal BBQ, patio and log burner for you to enjoy alfresco dining. All our guests will receive a Welcome pack with a few surprises and of course complimentary tea and coffee. Chopped firewood, bedding and luxury towels are also provided. Guest access There is free off-road parking for one car. Other things to note A Sofa-bed for one child is available for additional 3rd guest. The small bed mattress size is 160cm x 70cm. For info we have had a few ladies stay, 12 year old and use the small bed. If you require the bed made up please book third guest. Please see photo on air bnb for size. Daily transport provided to Cheltenham town for Gold cup race week. Just to make things that little bit easier, for an additional cost we also offer a ‘do it yourself’ breakfast. Pre order with booking please. We will provide everything you need for the perfect fry up, sourced from the award-winning local farm shop. But if you fancy a lighter start to the day then why not opt for the ‘lighter’ breakfast.
