Ca’ Franchi

Ca’ Franchi is a charming newly renovated private mansion of 1600 in the Castello district, in the historic center of Venice, 60 meters away from the Campo Santa Maria Formosa, one of the most fascinating campos of the city. The space We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, handles, etc.) before you check in. Furthermore, out of an abundance of caution, we always wait 24 hours between reservations in order to minimize the risk of exposure. The house is very bright, with a view of a characteristic calle of the Castello district. A typical Venetian house with Venetian terrazzo flooring and exposed beam ceiling, newly restored. The house is spread over two floors. The lower floor consists of a bedroom with a king size bed and a three-quarter (140 cm) sofa bed, a second bedroom with a double sofa bed, a kitchen-diner with dishwasher and microwave oven, and a bathroom. The upper floor consists of a bedroom with a double bed , a living room with double sofa bed, a kitchen-diner with dishwasher and convection oven, and a bathroom. The two floors are both equipped with TV, and a washing machine is available on the ground floor. The house can accommodate a total of four to nine people, but we have hosted ten people without any troubles using for two people the three-quarter sofa bed. Guest access The entire house will be at your exclusive disposal. Bed linen and towels are included. There is a hair dryer in each bathroom. If requested at booking time we can provide one or two travel cribs. Other things to note Ca' Franchi is a tourist accommodation which is regularly accredited by local authorities. The Regional Identification Code of the accommodation is 027042-LOC-13788. The laws that protect public security require us to request an identity document of all the guests staying in our apartment and to communicate the data to the police headquarters. Don't forget to bring an ID with you! The Municipality of Venice requires every tourist staying overnight in Venice to pay a tourist tax of 4 euros per person per night. The tax is applied for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights (meaning that if you stay for 6 or more nights, you still pay for 5 nights only). Minors between 10 and 15 years of age (less than 16 years old) pay 2 euros per person per night. Minors up to and including 9 years of age are exempt. We'll ask you to pay for the tourist tax cash at check-in time. You can check-in even after 10 PM, but in this case there is a surcharge.
