Avoca Park's 'Comfortable Apartment' offers a private place to set-up to travel around the vast variety of tourist destinations we have available near us. Whether it's a place to get prepared for a local wedding or a rest and rejuvenate weekend, our Apartment offers the comfort for you. Enjoy the smells of the country air, feel the energy of the horses and our other animals you will be surrounded by. The space Avoca Park's popular Apartment is stylishly decorated and comfortably appointed - the perfect couples or single getaway . It has a super comfy double bed, a small dining setting and full ensuite. Our Apartment hosts a small fridge and microwave along with a kettle and toaster. Our Apartment has a flat screen 32' TV, DVD player and assortment of movies to watch, if you'd like to just sit in and relax. Alternatively you can simply sit in one of our relaxing sitting areas around the property surrounded by our beautiful gardens and trees and read a book ! Our apartment is comfortable all year round, protected from the heat in summer, but snug during the cooler months with great heating. On request we have a porter cot ($11.00) and baby bath (No charge) for your use. **Please note the cot does not come with bedding. We have an under cover outdoor sitting area with BBQ for your use. Being an equestrian property there is the opportunity to have a riding lesson or two on our wonderful school horses. Or book a once in a life time Donkey Experience, something that you won't experience anywhere else Alternatively spend a relaxing evening in our outdoor spa or around our fire on our Memorial Reserve. Our local town Emerald is a 15min drive and has many lovely cafes and restaurants and well as home to historical steam train Puffing Billy which still runs daily. Locally we have rail trails for bike riding and National Parks for walkers. Healesville Sanctuary, Yarra Valley Choclaterie are both 30 minutes away. Alternatively you may be interested in Internationally awarded Gin Distillery, Four Pillars. Being part of the Yarra Valley wine region you could spend hours or days driving around this beautiful district tasting wines from vineyards such as Domain Chandon, Tarrawarra, Balgownie and Yering Station to name just a few. Guest access For our guests enjoyment we have - An undercover BBQ area with a 10 seat setting. The cost for BBQ use per night is $22 inclusive of power, cleaning and gas. We need 24hrs notice to have prepared for you. A hot tub/spa for up to 6 people. The cost for use per day is $33 inclusive of power and cleaning. We need 24hrs notice to have prepared for you. A outdoor fire. The cost for this is $22 per day inclusive of supply of wood. We need 24hrs notice to have prepared for you. **Please note - The above areas are communal, a great way to get to know other travellers. :) We love our guests to wander around our property, spend some time relaxing in our Memorial reserve, enjoy a Donkey Experience with Johnny and Jenny Simpson. Or watch our horses and the energies they give us. If you would like to book a riding lesson please let us know, these are available every day apart from Mondays. The earlier the bookings are requested the greater chance we have of meeting your requirements with our teachers and horses/ponies. Cost are - $140 with our Equestrian Australia Introductory teachers $170 with Leanne Williams, our Equestrian Australia Level 3 teacher and Level 1 Legerete Licensed teacher. **Above prices are inclusive of boot and helmet hire. Book a Donkey Experience for $50pp for one hour time slot. Minimum of 2 people. Other things to note On request we have a continental breakfast available for $16.50 per person.
