The Bonnet is a beautifully converted top floor of a stonemason's cottage in the wonderful Stroud Valleys. Self contained with glorious views. The space 'The Bonnet' at No. 1 Yew Tree Cottages is a delightful, bright and cosy self-contained flat. It occupies the top floor of an 1820 s, stonemason's cottage in Rockness. Rockness is a hamlet, above the lovely town of Nailsworth. A short walk into town, but surrounded by a variety of glorious walks. There are wonderful views and a feeling of tranquillity. The only access to the Bonnet is through the front door, reached by the pretty blue staircase seen in the photos. The Bonnet is open plan, with a star spangled oak double bed (made by the owner), a compact kitchen and neat shower room. Heating is provided by oil filled radiators and a woodburner. It is a cosy, warm space. I provide a basket of wood. Tea, coffee,and milk , will be there for your arrival. There is no television, but there is internet access. Cotton sheets and towels are provided. You are very welcome to wander, and to sit in the garden. Guest access The Bonnet is completely private and self-contained, having its own entrance, and one guest car parking space. We ask that you arrive after 3pm, and leave by 11am. Other things to note I am afraid although this site says The Bonnet can take extra guests, it can only accomodate two people !! I am also sorry I cant accomodate children, there are a couple of health and safety issues for small people.
