Welcome to Treehouse Whidbey! @treehousewhidbey Designed to serve up serene 360’ views of our 5-acre forest, the treehouse is supported by 4 douglas fir trees and sits 14ft above the ground. Two flights of cedar stairs take you to one of the highest points on Whidbey Island. Inside the treehouse, you'll find hand-crafted interior finishes and hand-picked decor from the PNW. Outside, explore the canopy covered paths, including trails to Possession Beach Waterfront Park. The main floor is equipped with a kitchen, small bathroom, living area, and a deck with views of Puget Sound. The kitchen has a mini fridge, sink, electric stovetop and countertop convection oven. We stocked it with all the amenities that you’ll need during your stay. Enjoy a sip of local coffee in the morning and take advantage of our propane grill at the ground level. The small bathroom is located next to the kitchen. You can also enjoy a beautifully finished private bath and shower room in the main house, with its own private entrance and just a short stroll from the treehouse. The living room has a built-in bench and a dining nook where you can savor a nice meal, play games, or read your favorite book. We have a sleeper sofa that can sleep two comfortably. The ships ladder takes you to the bedroom loft where it's impossible to forget you are amongst the trees. The deck features water views and the most incredible sounds of nature. Outside, explore the canopy covered paths, including a trail to Possession Beach park. The long driveway will lead you to ample parking and a turnaround area for owners and guests. Guests are welcome to use the trail system, Treehouse, full bathroom (located in the main house with a private entrance), and fire pit (unless burn-ban in effect). PLEASE NOTE: We live on the property within view of the Treehouse and any commercial purpose without prior consent is prohibited. We live on the property and will be available by phone or text. Private Forested acreage next to a park. We are up a long private driveway and a vehicle is needed to get around Whidbey. Our property is within a heavily forested area and you'll be surrounded by abundant wild life. During the summer months, we'll provide bug spray in case there are mosquitoes outside. Due to our location and elevation, a windy day can bring the noise level up because the treehouse is designed to move with the trees. Depending on your perspective, this can be wonderful or terrifying! LIABILITY WAIVER: • Because this is a unique stay, we require all guests to sign a liability waiver upon booking. We'll send it to you via email for digital signing. Please sign it ASAP so we can send you check-in instructions. Check-out instructions: • Check-out by 11am. • After using the BBQ grill, please make sure the propane tank is fully closed and cleaned with the tools provided. Additional house rules: • Smoking and open fires are prohibited. • Not suitable for children under 12. • Pets are not allowed.
