Located at the third and last floor of a building in the historic center of Bologna (THERE IS NO ELEVATOR), in perfect location for visiting all the major monuments, museums, restaurants, shops and discovering the magic atmosphere of this wonderful city. The apartment it's quiet, bright and equipped with every comfort, with parquet wood flooring, air conditioning (in the living room and in the master bedroom), autonomous heating, free wi-fi and dishwasher. From the windows you can see Bologna roofs, under which flows the energy of this magnificent ancient and modern city. Crossing the entrance there's a large living area with television, a sofa bed and dining area with a openable table for 6 people. You can transform the sofa in the living room into comfortable double bed. In the small kitchen there's a stove, a oven, a fridge with freezer,microwave oven, a dishwasher and it's completely equipped with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, an italian coffee machine and a toaster. There's two bedrooms: one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. In the bathroom, in addition to the water closet, bidet and washbasin, there's a bathtub with shower, a washing machine and a hair dryer. Soap, towels and bed linen are always provided. Can accomodate up to a maximum of 6 people and is ideal for singles, couples, families with childrens and groups of friends. The flat is located in the heart of Bologna, in Mura di Porta Castiglione, a quiet street at few meters from Porta San Mamolo and Via D'Azeglio, one of the most elegant zone of the old town, where you can find many bars, restaurants , taverns, pastry shops, ice cream parlors and food shops. In 5/10 minutes by foot, you can reach all the sights of the historic center, such as Piazza Maggiore, the Basilica of San Petronio, the popular "Quadrilatero", the Two Towers Asinelli and Garisenda, Piazza Santo Stefano (Square of the seven churches), Piazza San Domenico, the Civic Archeological Museum. Within a few minutes walk are also the main streets of shopping of Bologna such as Via d 'Azeglio, Galleria Cavour, Via Rizzoli-Ugo Bassi, Via Indipendenza. You will be in perfect position for visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, connected to the city from the famous "Portico di San Luca" (the more longest roofed arcade in the world, 3.8 kilometers and over 600 arches). The apartment is easily reachable and well connected from public transport: at 2 minutes walk on Viale Panzacchi there's the bus stops of lines 32 and 33 "Porta San Mamolo" that turns around the historic center of Bologna passing through the Central Train Station. If you arrive by plane, there's a shuttle service Marconi Express that connects the airport to the city center and to the Central Train Station. If you arrive by car, always two minutes walk from the apartment, in Viale Panzacchi 10, there's a large public car park (Parcheggio Staveco) but ATTENTION it is CLOSED until the end of summer 2025 for expansion works.. At about 3 minutes walk there's a Taxi Parking (Piazza dei Tribunali). From the flat you can reach the Bologna Fair District in just 15 minutes by car or in about 30 minutes by bus (line 39 from the bus stop "Tribunale" in Piazza dei Tribunali; to come back from the Fair district take line 38 towards "Tribunale"). Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note The apartment is reserved for non-smokers. NO LIFT, so the accommodation it' s not appropriate for people with reduced movement capacity. For bookings of 2 people, linen is provided for the double bed only. For bookings of 3 people, linen is provided for 1 double bed and 1 single bed. For reservations of 4 people, the double bed and two single beds are prepared. For 5 or 6 guests, the sofa bed is also prepared. For reservations of up to 4 people, for each additional bed compared to the number of guests, a supplement of €15.00 will be required for extra laundry washing and you must notify us a few days in advance.
