Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

A cottage set in the idyllic Welsh countryside. The open plan kitchen/diner leads through to a seating area with wood burning stove. A separate downstairs lounge contains the original oven/stove and has a large window seat providing beautiful views across the valley. Aberdar is perfect for getting away from it all and provides a great base for walking, bird watching or exploring the picturesque counties of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. The space The cottage was built in the 1800's and was originally 3 cottages before being converted into a single dwelling, it still contains original features such as the gegin (kitchen stove). It has recently been refurbished and now has underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, modernised bathroom, ensuite (master bedroom) and wood burning stove. To make the most of beautiful views over the valley a cabin has been built with bi-fold doors and wood burning stove so can enjoy the views throughout the year whatever the weather. The cabin also has a projector and a 3 m screen with surround sound. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage, gardens and cabin. Other things to note The cottage is 16 miles from the nearest town (30 minute drive). Tesco and ASDA deliver to the cottage. This is pet friendly accommodation and while bedding is obviously changed and the cottage is throughly cleaned at changeover, caution should be taken with guests with extreme allergies.
