For this reason we recommend the precaution of ensuring that no items are left in the car (not even cheap sunglasses or items of minimal value) or that items are left visible. This means that there are frequent power outages (also referred to as 'black outs' or 'load shedding'). These outages are instigated by ESKOM, the National Energy Supplier. To make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible we have fitted a UPS device to keep the wifi active during a power outage. In addition, there are rechargeable lights in each room of the unit as well as multiple tea-light candles and 2 flashlights for emergencies. The stove hob is operated with gas and we provide a stove top kettle for use. Please note that the electric gate at the entrance can also be unlocked manually during a power outage.
