Elevated high above the village, Takapō Retreat offers a unique experience to those looking for something special. With a choice of 3 outdoor living areas, spa & swimming pool (salt, heated, avail Nov-April), you can enjoy Tekapo's alpine environment year around. The lovely internal living invites you to share food, relax on a sunny window seat, or end your day in front of the fire enjoying a movie. The space The master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom, while the other bedrooms share a second bathroom (including shower, toilet and bathtub) and additional toilet. A separate kitchenette and living area adjoins the rear bedrooms for larger groups requiring extra space. One of the few Tekapo properties offering full mobility access, including a wheelchair entry lift, several ramps, a fully accessible bathroom and widened door frames throughout. By prior agreement well-behaved dogs are welcome at this pet-friendly property, so your whole family can enjoy the break (fenced courtyards). A fee of $30 per dog per stay applies, and owners are expected to follow a few simple rules. Guest access Nespresso coffee machine available - BYO pods The garage is great for winter ski days! Other things to note Linen, towels and cleaning is included in the nightly rate. To ensure that we provide the correct linen please include the total number of guests when booking, including children. We ask that you are mindful about your bed choice when staying, as additional costs will be charged for beds used in excess of the number of guests booked. Infants under 2 years are welcome and are free in a port-a-cot (also available for hire @ $10/stay - please request). For stays less than 5 nights your accommodation is un-serviced, therefore all supplies & linen initially provided are for the duration of your stay. Extra supplies can be purchased at the local supermarket.
