Description
Newly built wooden chalet (2000) attached to an old cottage (our accommodation), located at the end of a 250-meter private road on a 5 ha estate, overlooking the Crouziol and Gazeille valleys (1100 m altitude): 9 km from the Estables and Mont Mézenc ski resort (1754 m), 7 km from Monastier sur Gazeille (City of Character, all shops), 25 km from Puy en Velay (City of Art and History), 10 km from the Loire Gorges… and much more to discover! The space The cottage is a wooden construction, with large bay windows and several terraces (It is "placed" on a stone base, so the living room is on the first floor); The living room consists of a living/dining room with mezzanine and open-plan kitchen; on the same level, there is access to a bathroom (2 sinks, bathtub and shower) and a double bedroom overlooking an independent terrace. A 'boat' type staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a mezzanine also equipped with a single bed (not indicated on the site, because I could not find where to mention it). There's no TV, but you can use the Wi-Fi if needed. Guest access The cottage is adjoining the main residence, but has independent access and private terraces and gardens (South Terrace entrance, East Terrace bedroom; East and South gardens); Free access to the 5 Ha and the river (Gazeille) below, avoiding if possible the South and West surroundings near the main accommodation. Other things to note The interior stairs are very steep and can therefore be dangerous for very young children (a barrier is available, but additional supervision is required) The exterior stairs have large irregular steps that can be a nuisance for people with mobility concerns.
